Amanda is a strategist who believes that innovation is driven in equal parts by data and creativity.
She has over 15 years of experience leading social change projects in the civil society and tech sectors. She has led marketing and content strategy for the insurgent social network Ello, US Fund for UNICEF, +Acumen, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Catholic Relief Services, and a number of start-up nonprofits. Prior to founding ThirdSpace, Amanda was Director of Policy Programs and Operations at Hope Street Group, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for all Americans through 21st century policy innovations.
She leads workshops on using human-centered design to improve the delivery of nonprofit and government services.
She loves quarries, borderlands, biking, photography, and writing, and is a frequent contributor to Atlas Obscura and Parent.Co.
She is a recent transplant to the Philadelphia area by way of Vermont, Silicon Valley, Austin, Chile, Portland (OR), and Denver, where she grew up.
